How to Reset HomePod Mini with Home App

It is easy to remove the Accessory of HomePod or HomePod mini from the ‘Home App’ on iPhone or iPad. Here, by following some easy steps to proceed further process.

  1. Open the ‘Home App’ on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID that is used for your HomeKit setup.
  3. Locate the HomePod or HomePod mini that you want to reset in the list of accessories.
  4. Touch and hold on to the icon.
  5. Scroll down and tap on ‘Details’.
  6. Click on ‘Remove Accessory’.
  7. Tap on ‘Remove’ to proceed.
  8. The HomePod or HomePod mini will be reset successfully.

Resetting Homepod Mini on Mac or PC

This method will only work with the HomePod Mini, You cannot reset the full-sized HomePod with a Mac, because it doesn’t support a USB-C connection.

  1. First, plug your HomePod Mini into your Mac.
