How to Add Widgets to Apple Watch

You can customize your Watch with the widgets that are most useful and relevant to you. If you want to monitor your fitness, check the weather, track your stocks, or control smart home devices, adding widgets to your Apple Watch provides quick access to the information and functionalities.

To add widgets to your Apple Watch, follow the below steps

  1. Pair your both Apple watch and iphone.
  2. Open Watch app on your iPhone.
  3. Tap on the My Watch at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select Edit option, you will see available widgets list.
  5. Select the widget you want to add.
  6. Tap on the green “+” button.
  7. Adjust the widget’s position by tapping and holding the three horizontal lines on the right side.
  8. Tap on Done, after adding or modifying widgets.

The changes you made will be synced to your watch, and the widgets will appear on your watch.

How to Rearrange and Delete Widgets on Apple Watch

To rearrange widgets on your Apple Watch, follow the below steps.

  1. Start your Apple Watch.
  2. Swipe right to access the widgets screen.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on the Edit button.
  4. The widgets will enter into editing mode.
  5. To Rearrange a widget, tap and hold the handle icon of the widget you want to move.
    • Drag it to the desired position.
    • Release your finger to drop the widget into its new position.
    • Repeat the above steps to rearrange other widgets also.
    • Tap on the Done to exit.
  6. To Remove a widget.
    • Select the widget you want to delete.
    • Tap on the red “-” button beside it, then select Remove. widget will be removed from the Watch.
    • Repeat the above steps to remove other widgets also.
    • Tap on Done to exit.

WatchOS 10 Compatible Apple Watches

watchOS 10 was released by Apple in 2016 and is compatible with the following Apple Watch models.

  • Apple Watch (1st generation)
  • Apple Watch Series 1
  • Apple Watch Series 2

Please note that watchOS 10 is not compatible with later Apple Watch models, such as Apple Watch Series 3, Series 4, Series 5, Series 6, or Apple Watch SE. These models require newer versions of watchOS for compatibility.
